Text | Cube semblance created from only 4 modules. It requires folding in thirds, but the assembly can be quite sturdy. You can choose four different colors.
Module 1. Take a square sheet, hold it in a horizontal position. 2. Fold the sheet in thirds, vertically. Mark the folds well. Folding in three is not easy to do, using a template can be effective. We obtain a rectangular shape in a vertical position. 3. Rotate the folding 90¡ to put it in a horizontal position. 4. Fold the rectangular shape in thirds, vertically. Mark the folds well. We obtain a square shape carrying a flap of triple thickness on the left and right. 5. Raise the left flap and the right flap vertically. The right and left flaps form a pocket into which we will slide the left and right flaps of a module to be assembled. Assembly Four identical modules must be used. 1. Insert the left and right flaps of the first module as far as possible into the pockets of the left and right flaps of the second module. We obtain a sort of ring with a square section. 2. Insert, without going as far as possible, the left and right flaps of the third module into the pockets of the left and right flaps of the fourth module. We obtain a new ring a little larger than the first. 3. Slide the first ring inside the second, so that you obtain 6 faces. 4. Finish folding by tightening modules 3 and 4 as tightly as possible around modules 1 and 2. This cube can act as a box that opens by pushing on either side of the interior assembly. |
