Text | A butterfly emerging from the waterbomb base, that is singular.
1. Take a square sheet of paper, in a horizontal position. 2. Prepare a water bomb base. Place it with the closed tip down. 3. Locate the middle of the upper edge of the base. 4. Create a valley fold by bringing the tip of the base from bottom to top on the point you have just identified. Strongly mark the fold. 5. Fold the upper right corner of the front flap downwards from right to left with a valley fold resting on the right edge of the point that has just been folded. 6. Fold the upper left corner of the front flap downwards from left to right with a valley fold resting on the left edge of the point that has just been folded. 7. Flip the fold from right to left. 8. Close the model using a valley fold resting on the vertical median. We obtain a triangular shape with an extra thickness at the top left. 9. Gently fold the front flap with a valley fold from right to left through all layers. This fold passes through the bottom of the allowance (roughly in the middle of the left vertical edge) and a slightly offset point on the upper edge of the front flap. 10. Flip the fold from right to left. 11. Gently fold the front flap with a valley fold from right to left through all layers. This fold passes through the bottom of the allowance (roughly in the middle of the left vertical edge) and a slightly offset point on the upper edge of the front flap. And here is a butterfly which, made with multi-colored paper, will be very beautiful! |
