Text | This star requires a little help to complete it. But it is very simple and can serve as a basis for a nice decoration.
1. Start with the bird base. Hold it with the sharp points down. 2. Form a vertical valley fold by bringing, from right to left, the right middle vertex of the front flap to the left middle vertex of the same flap. 3. Flip the fold from right to left. 4. Form a vertical valley fold by bringing, from right to left, the middle right vertex of the front flap to the middle left vertex of the same flap. We obtain a diamond with two sharp points at the top and a simple point at the bottom. 5. Raise the lower peak of the lower front triangular flap as high as possible by a valley fold from the bottom to the top. 6. Flip the model from right to left. 7. Raise the lower peak of the lower front triangular flap as high as possible by a valley fold from the bottom to the top. We obtain a triangular shape whose apex is composed of four points, two sharp internal points being enclosed by two large external points. 8. Form a valley fold by bringing the lower left corner to the middle of the triangle at 45° from bottom to top. 9. Form a valley fold by bringing the lower right corner to the middle of the triangle at 45° from bottom to top. The initial front diamond is transformed into a quadrilateral with a long sharp point up and a short point down. This tip has two thick triangular flaps. 10. Flip the model from right to left. We start again with the rear flap. 11. Form a valley fold by bringing the lower left corner to the middle of the triangle at 45° from bottom to top. 12. Form a valley fold by bringing the lower right corner to the middle of the triangle at 45° from bottom to top. The whole shape looks like a quadrilateral with a long point up and a short point down. The long point is made up of four points, two wide outer ones hiding two sharp inner ones and a short point encircling the base of the acute points. 13. Insert your thumbs inside the shape starting at the top of the long tip. Go down gently, exerting very symmetrical pressure on all the points, so as to separate them and gradually bring them horizontal. The center point should squish together to form a square. Flatten well. The final shape is a four-pointed star with a square at the heart. All you have to do is choose the paper carefully! |
