Text | It is a variation of the elementary box. We add horizontal and vertical stripes and use the crossings to make a small relief pattern.
1. Hold the sheet vertically. 2. Fold in half in the valley on the vertical median. 3. Fold in a valley from right to left on the vertical median. 4. Fold the upper left corner at 45¡ into the right hinge side, through all the thicknesses, 5. Fold all layers in a valley from bottom to top, aligning with the horizontal bottom of the previous fold. Mark well. 6. Unfold everything in reverse order. 7. Locate a horizontal valley fold at the bottom left. Transform it into a mountain pleat over the entire length. 8. Locate a horizontal valley fold at the top left. Transform it into a mountain pleat over the entire length. We now have a square sheet available. 09. Fold the sheet into a valley on the horizontal median, upwards (existing fold). 10. Fold in an accordion of 1/16 horizontals. 11. Fold an additional 1/16th at the bottom of each flap. 12. Fold in 1/16ths lengthwise. 13. Perform a downward fold while leaning on the horizontal median. 14. Fold to the right, leaning on the vertical median. 15. Make a helical fold at the intersection of the two folds. A dissymmetry is introduced. 16. Turn the flaps over to the 17th 1/16th. 17. Look for new environments. 18. Make a fold that reaches flush with the bottom. A pretty little box! |
