| Text | This base is the continuation of the kite base, which is made symmetrical. 1. Start at one kite base, but without opening it. We obtain a triangular shape with a long point. 2. Hold the fold in a vertical position, the long point down, the vertical hinge fold on the right. 3. Form a valley fold by bringing the top left edge of the front triangular shape over the hinge edge from left to right, folding through all thicknesses. 4. Flip the fold from right to left. The hinge edge is now on the left 5. Form a valley fold by bringing the upper edge of the front flap from right to left on the hinge edge, adjusting the side all along this edge. 6. Open the fold along the hinge edge by bringing the rear flap forward. The diamond base is ready. We obtain an elongated diamond whose long points are symmetrical. |
