Institut les Hauts Thébaudières
| The Institut des Hauts Thbaudières is a Public Social Establishment located in Vertou near Nantes (France). The Institute carries out activities with people, children and adults, experiencing severe visual impairment. Activities are authorized and financed, mainly, by Social Security funds and grants from the State and public authorities. From November, I gave origami lessons in the blue room, once every two weeks. Few participants, but very diligent and passionate! The courses took place for three years in the premises of the IPHV, then were grouped with those given in the premises of the AVH in Nantes. In the meantime, under my leadership, an experiment in the use of origami in the teaching of geometry in primary classes had been undertaken. Validated in June 2006 by Jean-Marie Cierco, this experience developed and became La Boîte à Pliages
